Mentor-Protégé Agreement is Official

We are thrilled to announce that the Mentor-Protégé Agreement has been approved by the U.S. Small Business Administration! This JV with Native-owned Akana (a native-owned small business) and Veolia Nuclear Solutions Federal Services (VNSFS) allows both firms to expand engineering, design, planning, and environmental services in the federal sector.

VNSFS, as the Mentor, will provide assistance to Akana, including management and technical support, contracting guidance, and business development support during the course of the six-year agreement. In addition, as part of the program, Akana and VNSFS will form a mentor-protégé Joint Venture, allowing the companies to jointly pursue small business-oriented design and engineering opportunities.
